Program Target Description: The insurance program is specifically designed for the dairy industry.

Program Target:

  • Target Risks:
    • Designed for dairy farms with cows producing raw milk for bulk sale
  • Ineligible Risks:
    • No truckers or creameries 
    • No dairies that have had EPA violations in the past 5 years
  • Geographic:
    • Nationwide (except in ID and NE)

Coverages & Limits Available:

  • Livestock Mortality - $2,500 per head, $10M limit
  • Automobile
  • Property / Business Income 
  • Inland Marine
  • Employee Benefits / Crime Employee Dishonesty including Empty Benefit Plan – $250k, all other Commercial Crime - $100k limit
  • Equipment Breakdown
  • Umbrella – up to $10M limit
  • Contamination Feed - $500k limit

Submission Requirements:

  • Completed ACORD forms
  • 5 years of currently valued loss runs with details on any claims over $10,000
  • Full description of operations including those of additional named insureds
  • Expiring and target premiums

Broker Requirements:
Current appointment with the program administrator or, if not, complete the following items:

  • Broker Agreement
  • IRS W-9
  • Copy of E&O Certificate or Declaration Page
  • Copy of the agency’s license per location
  • Agency Profile Document
  • If multiple locations, include a list and confirm ALL locations are covered under the operation’s Errors and Omissions policy
